7x12 on masonite boardGuana Park is just 5 minutes away from where I live in Florida. The wide open expanses are beautiful. I had originally planned to put more detail into this painting, but when I got to this point, I liked the basic shapes and simplicity. I plan to do another of the same scene and go father with the detail.

I really like the appearance of the sun lighting the grass/reed tops! I think you stopped at a good place...not always easy to do.
