Statue 2

I wanted to show a little more of the detail from my previous post. The brush detail gets lost in the reduction of the image. This was painted on 1/4" masonite board. I understand that others are using 1/8" board for their work. While I like putting a frame on most paintings, this could be hung without a frame because of the thickness of the masonite.

I like the detail you posted It does give the feeling of sculpture, well done.

Beautiful job, Jim. You can really see the sculptural quality of your brushwork.

Thanks Dominique, I was slow getting my piece done and submitted. Every time I visited DFfDF I had to stop and admire your work!
